Shipping & Handling Costs
Before a product can be shipped it must be picked and packaged. Handling costs include† packaging and are usually shown separately from the shipping cost.
Banners, mixed orders, or Bundles containing Banners and Wallcharts or Books, will incur shipping costs according to the total weight of all goods.
Large quantities of wallcharts can't be practicably shipped in tubes (we can get a max of 5 sets in our standard tube without permanent curling) and so are shipped in flat packages. We are also limited to a maximum weight of 20kg per package so your order will be broken up into separate packs to meet those requirements. Banners can be packaged in sets of up to four. Bundles of various sorts will be packaged according to contents. Eg a teaching bundle will consist of a single mail tube containing five sets of wallcharts and an accompanying box with four banners. Books will generally be shipped separately from other items and may arrive before or after the rest of the order.
We use Australia Post for all shipments with a value under AUD$1,000 or where the goods can be packaged in our standard 100 x 100 x 750 mm mailing tubes. Incidentally, these are heavy duty tubes with 5 mm wall thickness.
For larger orders, we use the very efficient and experienced Pack & Send people to package and ship the order via the most appropriate international courier (eg Fedex or DHL) to the destination.
If you have a preference for one carrier over another or have an account with them please contact us to arrange that for you.
To minimize costs small orders (ie less than five sets) of wallcharts and/or books shipped within Australia by Parcel Post are not insured. If you wish to have insured delivery please send us an email and we will contact you with a shipping price based on Express Post Parcel rates. Larger orders will automatically travel by Express Parcel Post and be insured and we will provide a tracking number on request.
Apart from orders of single wallcharts, all shipments are insured and, if prepared by Pack & Send, orders are tracked. We will provide you with a tracking number on request (enter in the Special Instructions field on the order)
We ship as soon as possible after payment is confirmed but the shipping estimate provided in the shopping cart applies only from the moment of pickup by the courier service, and cannot account for the preparation and handling processes described below.
- Wallcharts are always in stock and usually ship same day.
- Books are shipped according to their availability with our suppliers
- Banners are printed on demand and, depending upon the details of your order, may take a few days or more before shipping.
- Bundles may take longer if they source products from 3rd parties, or they may arrive in multiple deliveries as dictated by availability.
We will send you a notification (email) when this payment is confirmed and update the delivery estimate. If there are further delays we will notify you as soon as practicable how long this may be.
Fit for Purpose
We believe that the information presented on this website and elsewhere is sufficient for you to establish our products' suitability for your purpose, so in general we regard a sale as Final and will not accept Returns.
Goods Lost or Damaged in Transit
We package and ship your precious goods by the best available economical means. If in fact you do not receive what you ordered - eg, a missing sheet or banner hanger then we will rectify that immediately at our cost. We will need some form of proof though. Send this email for further instructions.
Replacement or refund of monies for loss or damage to goods in transit due to poor packaging is entirely at our discretion - and in the first instance - claims for such must be directed to the carrier. We would appreciate however, seeing any evidence of such damage so that we can take action to prevent future occurrences. Send this email for further instructions.
